At Sandbox Nursery, our space is more than just a place to play—it’s a carefully curated environment where children feel safe, inspired, and truly at home. Every corner has been designed with intention to spark curiosity, encourage independence, and support the natural rhythms of early childhood.

A Cozy, Home-Based Setting
Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, our cozy home-based setting offers a calm and welcoming atmosphere far from the hustle and bustle of traditional childcare centers. Here, children are cared for in small groups, allowing for deep connection, meaningful play, and personalized attention.
Nature-Inspired and Light-Filled
Our rooms are bathed in natural light, with gentle colors and natural materials that create a soothing, sensory-rich environment. You’ll find baskets of open-ended toys, soft rugs for reading, cozy nooks for quiet time, and wide-open spaces for imaginative play. We use wood, wool, cotton, and other organic textures that invite touch and encourage creativity.
Outdoor Play, Every Day
The heart of our program beats outdoors. Our garden space is an ever-changing classroom where children dig, plant, climb, splash, and observe. Whether it’s watering vegetables, building fairy houses, or making mud pies, we make the most of every season. Outdoor play is essential for healthy development—and it’s a daily joy at Sandbox.
Space that Supports the Whole Child
From art to movement, every area in our space supports your child’s growth. We spend most of our time outdoors, where nature invites exploration, problem-solving, and big-body play. Indoors, our dedicated art area is filled with accessible, open-ended materials that spark creativity and self-expression. Music, storytelling, dance, and yoga are woven into our daily rhythm, helping children build body awareness and explore their emotions through joyful movement.
