Our Sandbox Rules

We’ve made this page easy to read (and hopefully not too boring) — it’s where you’ll find all the important details about how we run things at Sandbox On-the-Go. From how to reserve your spot, to payments, cancellations, and what happens if you or we need to reschedule. We also cover our health and safety practices — because keeping your little ones happy and healthy is our top priority. Think of it as the behind-the-scenes scoop that keeps our sandbox running smoothly!

Please note: a parent or caregiver must remain present during the session. This is a joyful enrichment experience—not babysitting or drop-off care.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your session.
  • Payment covers preparation, materials, and your dedicated time slot.
  • Books are confirmed once payment is received.

  • All bookings are non-refundable.
  • If you need to cancel for any reason, you may reschedule your session once with at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, or no-shows, are non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling.

  • One complimentary reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.

  • Travel within Culver City and Westside Los Angeles is included in your session price.
  • Travel outside of this area may incur an additional fee of $25-$30, depending on the distance.

  • If your child is feeling unwell (fever, cold, flu, etc.), please contact me as soon as possible at sandboxnursery@gmail.com.
  • You may reschedule your session due to illness with at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • I reserve the right to reschedule any session in the event of illness or unforeseen emergencies on my end.

  • Each session lasts 2 hours, depending on the activity and your child’s pace.
  • If a session runs slightly over due to engagement, there is no additional fee.
  • Repeated delays or extended time due to late starts may require additional fees or time limits.
